Maria and I planned our wedding this month and thought it would be a great idea to have Upstream cater one of the meals -- all our friends and family were excited about having "Upstream" as part of our weekend menu. We ordered rice and peas, oxtails and stewed chicken; it was a big hit— Our family and friends could not get enough, they LOVED the food!!! Chef Garfield put his culinary skills deep up in that meal. We ordered the stew chicken meal, shrimp rasta pasta, and soup - all three were absolutely delicious. Very friendly service by Ashley. It’s by far, the best meal we had since arriving in NY. “ The family that runs this cafe is very friendly and welcoming. My partner and I ordered the Jerk Chicken Wrap and the Chicken Caesar Salad and both were really delicious. The jerk chicken they use is really flavorful and tender, with a mild-medium spiciness. We also ordered a Kiwi Lemonade and a fresh Sorrel Ginger juice and both were extremely tasty and refreshing. The juice was especially unique, with a bit of that fresh ginger burn that can be really difficult to find in ginger beverages. All in all, I will definitely be coming back the next time I’m in the area! ”
